I studied the hydrodynamics of the North Atlantic right whales and examine the forces distributed on their body when they swim.
Since these animals are heavily impacted by entanglements along the east coast of Canada and the US, my work is expected to help scientists and rescuers to examine the impacts of fishing gear, should any of the right whales get caught.
Currently, I work as a science educator at the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology (國立海洋科技博物館) in Taiwan and am responsible for designing public outreach activities for museum visitors at all ages. I put a lot of effort in whales and dolphins topic since this is my specialty!
